Hotel View of the Falls Is Awesome!!!

A friend and I spent a romantic couple of nights at the falls. We had resereved a city room view, but when asked if we wanted an upgrade to a fallsview, we took it. The 12th floor room had a spectacular view of the falls. The hotel is a short walk to just about everything. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is very nice but not spectacular. I've stayed at the Embassy Suites (which is right next door) and I would say either hotel would be a great choice. If a fallsview room is not needed, I would suggest saving some money and booking a hotel that is still withing walking distance to attractions, but not overlooking the falls (you'll need the money for food as restaurant prices are elevated in this tourist town). I would stay here again!!

Hotel room was just as pictured. Room was very spacious with king size bed and pull-out couch. View of falls was spectacular! Bathroom was very large. Jacuzzi tub was very nice. Really liked the spacious bathroom. Beautiful room and beautiful view! Most attractions are within walking distance - however, be prepared to walk several city blocks. Hotel was located at the end of Falls Boulevard away from the hussle and bussle - which we really liked. Only complaint - we were unable to view the fireworks from our room. We had an end room and the view was obscured by the Mariott across the street. However, fireworks appeared to only last about 10 minutes, so we were not that disappointed. Highly recommend this hotel. Whirlpool jacuzzi room is a wonderful accomodation for honeymooners or couples looking for a romantic get away.

Our stay at the Sheraton Fallsview made our already great vacation even better. We arrived late, around 7 PM and high level falls view rooms which we reserved were all booked, so the Sheraton upgraded us to a Presidential Suite with an amazing view of the falls. Having seen the suite, I can say that the extra space is well worth the money and if we go back to Niagara Falls, I will be sure to book the suite. There is a spacious kitchenette with refrig, microwave, and sink (although oddly no utensils, plates, or even napkins) And by the way, 9th Floor is high enough to have an amazing view of the falls as well as the fireworks. The other great thing about the suites is that they are generally on the corner ends of the floor, which are more quiet. Sheraton Fallsview is about 1/4 block away from the Marriott, at the end of the block. It seems to be the most quiet. The only negative is that the breakfast buffet is terrible. The lunch and dinner is operated by a different company and is very delicious. Incidentally, I left a lot of cash (over $* USD) in the safe by accident and freaked out, understandably. I called later that day in quite a tizzy and the manager was very nice about it. They handled it immediately and by the next day by credit card was credited the equivalent in cash. I was very impressed. Don't hesitate to stay here but definitely get the room with the view!

Room was very clean and nice. Front desk clerk was not helpful. However, the bell captain answered all of our questions in a cordial manner. Too bad they must charge to park when 3 star hotels' parking is free. Also charged a per day fee for internet when lesser priced hotels advertised free internet.
